Description

Allosaurus 3d model in plywood, 11" tall, 19" long.

This is a 3 dimensional puzzle which is easy to assemble. Simply match up the like numbered slots and stick it together.

The overall dimensions on this are 19" long by 8 inches wide, by 11" tall. Which makes it significantly larger and of a superior quality to the other kits like this that I've seen. It's made from 1/8" thick plywood, so it's a bit sturdier and more significant than balsa or bass models.

It comes un-assembled as pieces (47 or 48 pieces, I forget which exactly). The first time I put one of these together it took me a good 15 to 20 minutes. But I gave a set to my nephews last year for Christmas and they had them all assembled faster than I could turn around!

This is really an Allosaurus to the best of my knowledge. But it looks like a T-Rex, and that's what everyone calls it when they look at it.

From Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allosaur…

Allosaurus /ˌælɵˈsɔrəs/ is a genus of large theropod dinosaur that lived 155 to 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period (Kimmeridgian to early Tithonian[1]). The name "Allosaurus" means "different lizard". It is derived from the Greek ἄλλος/allos ("different, other") and σαῦρος/sauros ("lizard / generic reptile"). The first fossil remains that can definitely be ascribed to this genus were described in 1877 by paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh, and it became known as Antrodemus. As one of the first well-known theropod dinosaurs, it has long attracted attention outside of paleontological circles. Indeed, it has been a top feature in several films and documentaries about prehistoric life.

This can be scaled up further if you would like something bigger, which I'm happy to do for clients!
